This afternoon, we officially began shooting The Last Ballad of Roxi. It was rainy, and that kind of set the mood for some of the scenes we shot. Roxi wrote in her journal and Greg really framed up some nice art in the camera. Janelle is really channeling Roxi and will do a superb job in this film.
Tim Maness came to film the birthday dinner scene and the tasteful love scene playing Jimmy. He did a great job and we're happy he's working with us.
The rain forced us to be creative with the lighting, but once it cleared up, we we're able to light up the outside of the apartment and paint the inside with light. It really turned out well.
